The CSA GUI can provide great information to the end user or field technician. It can also provide some end-user control of the agent and policy enforcement, such as the ability to disable the agent, answer query rules, and control local personal firewall settings. It is important that the security administrators configuring CSA MC policies fully understand what functionality they can distribute to the user. As with any security mechanism, the policy is only as strong as its enforcement and, therefore, the remote CSAs should be carefully tuned and controlled. |
