Conclusion


In this chapter, we explored the possibility of embedding our own tools and functionality into the very foundation of Maya. Making our own tools as seamless and friendly to the experienced Maya artist aids both in their use and in their flexibility. We also learned that inside of Maya s node-based structure, even data like animation can be accessed in much the same manner as more traditional data, such as the geometry covered in the previous chapter.
