To illustrate concepts in this book, I used industry standard object modeling diagrams to visually depict interfaces, classes, objects, and the relationships that exist between them within a given context. The diagrams you'll find in this book include OMT class diagrams, OMT object diagrams, COM object diagrams, and UML interaction diagrams. What follows is a brief explanation of each type of diagram.
