About the Authors

Michael Solomon , CISSP, PMP, CISM, TICSA, is a full-time security and project management speaker, consultant, and trainer with more than 17 years of industry experience. He holds an MS in mathematics and computer science from Emory University (1998) and a BS in computer science from Kennesaw State University (1987). Michael has written several IT and project management books, including Information Security Illuminated (Jones & Bartlett, 2005), Security+ Lab Guide (Sybex, 2005), Computer Forensics JumpStart (Sybex, 2005).

Kelvin J. Arcelay is a founder and managing partner at CITASGroup LLC, specializing in audit, compliance, interim CIO, and project management services. He has more than 21 years of business technology implementation experience and has worked with well-known companies such as Global Payments, Cumulus Media, Siemens, TYCO, Fruit of the Loom, and Bristol-Myers Squibb. In addition, he holds active certifications in project management (PMP), Information Security (CISM, CISSP), and Six Sigma Green Belt.

Tina Dacus has worked for 10 years in information technology, specializing in project management, quality assurance, and process improvement. She has training in and experience using the Capability Maturity Model Integrated (CMMI) and the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK). She is a member of the Project Management Institute (PMI).

Bob Tarne , PMP, is a senior consultant with Project Management Solutions, where he oversees implementation of project management initiatives with clients to help optimize their business performance. He is also the chair of PMI's Information Technology and Telecommunications Specific Interest Group and a graduate of PMI's Leadership Institute. Bob has also worked in project management roles at Sprint and Owens-Illinois. Bob's career began as an officer in the U.S. Navy, where he served for seven years as a cryptologist. He holds an MS in business from Johns Hopkins University and a BS in electrical engineering from the University of Illinois. Bob earned his PMP in 2001.
