As you can see from the variety of topics covered in this chapter (and this isn't close to being all of them), you can utilize many image adjustments and special effects to either correct a bad image or transform a perfectly good shot into something out of this world. The sky's the limit. I recommend starting with the best-quality image so that you don't have to spend half your editing time fixing poor image quality. It's more fun to focus your efforts on being creative than to assume the role of a video janitor. With that in mind, the examples I have used throughout this chapter barely touch on the type of segment image effects that are available. Play around as much as possible, and create your own world of insane segment effects. You cannot spend enough time trying out all the standard video filters and combining them to make some of the most outrageous image effects. I strongly encourage you to have some fun with filters.
