ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Gary Chin is the founder of Cross Organizational (XO) Consulting, an independent firm helping organizations get started with project management, as well as attune it to their current business processes and corporate culture. He is also president of Personal Project Management Solutions, developing user-friendly PM applications that focus on the qualitative aspects of project definition/initiation and integrate execution stage activities with project planning. He has practiced, taught, and consulted in project management since 1985.

Gary holds a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, an MBA in marketing from Bentley College, PMP certification from the Project Management Institute, and is part of the American Management Association's Faculty in Project Management.
