Templates and Special Effects from This Book

Finally, the code for all the templates and special effects presented in this book are also included on the accompanying CD. All these examples and templates are presented in plain text (TXT) files, which can be opened and edited in any text or HTML editing program, such as the Nvu editor included on the CD. The files are labeled similarly to how they're presented in the text; for example, the code for Template 10.1 (from Chapter 10) is found in the file labeled template10-1.txt.

When using these templates, you should copy the entire text file into a text editor or HTML editing program. You can then follow the instructions in the appropriate chapter to edit the code for your individual auctions. You can then copy the edited code into a new eBay auction listing, using the HTML editor found on eBay's Describe Your Auction form.

Several of the templates in Chapter 10 have accompanying graphics files. These files are also found on the CD. To use these files with the template code, you should first copy the graphics files to your computer's hard disk, and then upload them to an external Internet server or photo hosting service. You can then reference the uploaded URL and filename in the template code.
