IN THIS CHAPTER
In the preceding chapter you learned how important it is to manage all your post-auction activitysending out invoices to winning bidders, keeping track of who has paid and who hasn't, preparing items for shipping, leaving feedback, and the like. If you run only a few auctions at a time, you can probably manage this activity by hand. But if you're running a half-dozen or more auctions simultaneously, it gets tough to keep track of everything you need to do. When your number of active auctions increases, you should think about using some sort of auction management tool to help you keep things in control. Although various third-party auction management services are available (which you'll learn about in Chapter 27, "Using Selling Management Services"), for many users the best tool is available from eBay itself. It's called eBay Selling Manager, and it's both easy to use and affordable. |
