Setting up OpenOffice.org

The first time you run OOo, you're asked to read and agree to the license. You must scroll through the license text window before you click I Agree. The other request the software makes is to register it online. This is optional. You can decline to register, click Next, and move on without any problem. If you do decide to register, you'll find yourself on a Web page with a survey form full of questions that can help guide OOo's future development directions.

You can probably provide better feedback if you register and fill out the survey after you've been using the software for a few weeks than you can when you first try it, so it's probably a good idea to skip registration for the moment.
