Microsoft BizTalk Accelerator for Suppliers (AFS) integrates Microsoft Commerce Server 2000, BizTalk Server 2000, and SQL Server 2000 to enable suppliers to trade interactively through multiple electronic sales channels (such as procurement applications, marketplaces, and directly over the Web). These interactions include the exchange of electronic product catalogs and purchase orders between trading partners. It also enables functionality (known as remote shopping) that empowers the supplier and enhances the online shopping experience by allowing a buyer to directly access a supplier Web site while making purchases through a trading partner e-procurement application or a marketplace buyer application.
