Case Study 5 -- Envisioning RMS

The RMS team's goal-setting meeting started out well. On Monday the team met in the Oak Room for the first time and really got going on the MSF Development Process Model. Even Tim's doughnuts didn't throw them off track. As the team moved through the four phases, they outlined who was responsible for each phase and went over the preliminary calendar Dan had drawn up. They were making real progress. Then toward the end of that Monday morning meeting, Dan started talking about iterations within versions. Little did he know that such a simple concept would cause so much trouble.
