Adding Notes to Your Image

Besides being a great image editing program that offers so many tools and features, Photoshop even lets you leave virtual sticky notes or voice annotations on your images. After a hard day of work you can leave a reminder for the morning, or you can quickly record the steps for a special effect you created, use a virtual sticky note. Here’s how:

• To add a note to the image window, select the Notes Tool from the Toolbox, position the mouse in the image window, and then click. A note appears. When you’re finished adding text to the note, click the Close button.

• If you have a microphone attached to your computer, you can add voice annotations to images. To add a voice annotation, select the Audio Annotation Tool from the Toolbox, and then click the image window. An Audio Annotation dialog box appears; when you’re ready to record the annotation, click the Start button. Record your annotation, and then click the Stop button when you are finished.
