If you've read the previous chapters in this book, you should by now have a good understanding of the XML-related functionality in SQL Server 2000. I hope you can think of some ways to use this functionality to build XML-based integrated solutions. I'll use this final chapter to examine a sample e-commerce application that uses SQL Server's XML support throughout. This chapter allows you to see the technologies we've looked at in earlier chapters working within the context of a real (well, real-ish) application. I also want to introduce another important server application that can be used with SQL Server and XML to build integrated solutions—Microsoft BizTalk Server.
