Chapter 2. Installation

Although installing Reason is simple enough if you follow the onscreen directions, you need to consider a few factors before you get started. Taking the time to figure out in advance what kind of setup you want for your virtual studio can save you a lot of time later.

In this chapter, we'll go over what you need to get started, as well as a few additional things you may want, such as external controllers. Then we'll look at basic installation and how to configure your Reason settings to get you going.
