Matt Brown is a consultant based in the Bay Area. He has edited more than 20 Dreamweaver and Photoshop books over the years. He has taught at Foothill College and in the Multimedia Studies Program at San Francisco State University. He was on the Dreamweaver team for 5 years in a number of capacities, finally as Community Manager. Matt is married to a magnificent woman, Marcella, keeps chickens, loves to cook, and creates all sorts of art.

Gareth Downes-Powell is a partner in Buzz inet (http://www.buzzinet.co.uk), an Internet company specializing in Web design and hosting, and a member of Team Macromedia Dreamweaver. He has written a number of PHP books for various publishers and worked as a technical editor on many more. Gareth regularly writes for a number of Web sites, including DMX Zone at http://www.dmxzone.com/.

Massimo Foti began using Dreamweaver on the very day the first beta was available, and he has used it ever since. Massimo has been a prolific extension developer since the pioneering days of Dreamweaver 1. He is the creator of www.massimocorner.com and is a winner of the Macromedia Best Extension Developer award. His extensions are featured on the Macromedia Exchange for Dreamweaver and have been included in many books and magazines. Massimo works at www.amila.ch developing database-driven Web sites using ColdFusion, PHP, and different kinds of databases.

Nancy Gill is an eight-year veteran to Web development and the owner of Web Wish Productions in Central California. She is currently serving her 4th term as a Team Macromedia Volunteer for Dreamweaver MX. She has served as technical editor and reviewer for many Dreamweaver MX and Contribute books and most recently, co-authored her first book, Dreamweaver MX: Instant Troubleshooter. She has also written articles for the Macromedia Web site.

Tim Green is an author, a full-time IT Consultant, eBusiness/B2B Advisor, and CEO of The Rawveg Consultancy (www.rawveg.org). Beginning his working life as a COBOL and Assembly Language programmer, he moved into Web application development in 1996, after dabbling in numerous other careers, from acting to being a chef. A contributing developer to PHAkT, an implementation of PHP for UltraDev 4, Tim now concentrates on the development of PHP utilities for Dreamweaver MX, and has released a shopping cart management system, IntelliCART MX, to critical acclaim. He has also been a contributing author to a number of sites, books, and magazines, including Dreamweaver MX: PHP Web Development (Wrox), and has given public demonstrations and lectures at Macromedia events in Europe.

Sean R. Nicholson is the network administrator and Web developer for the Career Services Center at the University of Missouri, Kansas City. He and his development teams architect, develop, and manage foundation and backend execution for programs such as the CareerExec Employment Database (careerexec), UMKC Career Services Website (career.umkc), and UMKC's Virtual Career Fair (umkc/virtualfair). Sean also does private contract work and consulting on database and Web development with organizations and individuals. Sean's technical publications include Inside UltraDev 4, Discover Excel 97, and Teach Yourself Outlook 98 in 24 Hours, and he has written several legal articles ranging in topics from Canadian water rights to the protection of historic artifacts lost at sea.
