These tests should prove quite helpful to you. I'm sure there are a dozen more that I haven't even thought of, but these have always worked well for me. If there is a final word I can leave with you it would be to document, document, document. As much as we all loathe the thought, it is central to everything we do. Our environments would be completely unmanageable without it. Every ounce of documentation gives you and your staff the confidence to administer, maintain and troubleshoot your NetBackup environment.
