INTRODUCTION
You can have multiple Office applications and documents open at the same time and switch between them whenever you want. For example, you might use data in Excel to help create a report in Word and a presentation in PowerPoint, which you want to immediately send to your manager using Outlook.
TIP
Resizing Application Windows
If your application windows aren't maximized, you can resize them to view multiple windows on the desktop. Do so by placing the mouse pointer on the window border, where the pointer turns into a double-headed arrow. Then press and hold down the left mouse button and drag the window until it's the desired size. If your windows are maximized, you must first click the Restore Down button on the application window before dragging the window's edge.
