vector
(1) A pointer to code or data typically used in a table (vector table); (2) A one-dimensional array; (3) A line defined by a starting and ending points.
vector processor
A processor that performs an instruction on an entire array of data in a single step. See: scalar processor and superscalar processor.
vertex
The intersection of two vectors used to define a corner of a polygon, for example, three corners of a triangle or eight corners of a cube.
vertex normal
A direction vector perpendicular to the plane intersecting the three vertices of a triangle
