Starting your own game development company is hard work. It requires a massive commitment in blood, sweat, and tears. And forget about getting home at a decent hour: good managers are usually the last to leave.
It's not about playing golf.
It's not about fast cars.
It's not about swimming in money.
It's about making a living. If you get seriously rich, great! However, you will have to do a lot of hard work first. Most businesses don't even survive the first three years of life. If you do survive for a while, you still can't afford to be complacent: Atari collapsed because of this attitude; and even the mighty IBM was brought to its knees in the late 1980s and nearly collapsed.
If, after all this, you still want to go ahead: good luck!
