Summary

This chapter discussed how to create and work with recipients, the destination of all Exchange interactions. You learned about three of the five basic types of recipients in Exchange Server 2003—users, groups, and contacts—including how to create and configure each. You also learned how to search for recipients in various ways, create a template that can serve as a model for creating recipients, create policies that you apply to recipients, and create address lists that group recipients in different ways. Exchange clients use address lists to generate address books. The next chapter looks at the fourth type of recipient available in an Exchange organization: the public folder.
