With the help of PHP you can build dynamic documents, images, or movies with just a few lines of code. In particular, generating dynamic images on-the-fly can be done reliably and safely. PHP provides an interface to the widely used GD module, so it is an easy task to get used to working with this interface.

In combination with PHP's Ming module, it is possible to generate Flash movies. However, the Ming module is not reliable yet, so it is better not to use it.
