The Power of Photoshop

Photoshop is not a island, complete unto itself. Rather, it's surrounded by hardware and software that supports or hinders it. If you focus on any piece of the whole and ignore the rest, you'll run into trouble (or at the very least, you'll be less efficient than you might have been).

We're going to focus on Photoshop for the rest of the book, but while you read, keep in mind these other factors: memory considerations, hardware, and third-party software. That way, you'll really be prepared to harness the power of Photoshop.
