Hiring the Right Person

Hiring the right person for the job can sometimes be a crapshoot. The right person will help you grow and run your business smoothly, and the wrong person will be a thorn in your side, just slowing you down. Although websites and newspapers can help you find people who are actively looking for employment, the best candidate might already have a job and isn't actively looking. That's when networking comes in. Ask friends, family, community business members, and even your employees to recommend or keep their eye open for someone. That diamond in the rough might want a change but is not actively seeking employment. Great jobs are nearly always filled through referrals.
