Installing Add-Ins and Third-Party Software

Outlook is a very powerful program, but sometimes it can use a little help. There are many Microsoft and third-party add-ins you can install to make your Outlook installation even more powerful. To install an add-in, use the following steps:

  1. From within Outlook, select Tools, Options to display the Outlook Options dialog box.

  2. Choose the Other tab and click the Advanced Options button.

  3. Click the Add-In Manager button to display Figure A.7. The Add-In Manager displays a list of all currently available and installed add-ins. An add-in that is available but not installed does not have a check mark next to its name.
