OneNote Minimum System Requirements

Before you install OneNote on your computer, be sure your computer meets the minimum system requirements that are outlined in Table C.1. These requirements apply whether you're on a Tablet PC, desktop, or laptop.

Memory	64MB RAM plus 8MB for every open application
Hard Drive	245MB available free space for typical installation (includes 130MB of temporary space needed for installation)
Media Drives	CD-ROM or DVD drive
Audio Devices (for recording and playback of audio notes)	Microphone, speakers, Windows Media Player 8.0 or later, and Microsoft DirectX 8.1 or later
Display	Super VGA (800 x 600) or higher resolution
Operating System	Windows 2000 SP3 or higher OR Windows XP
