I'm Getting New Highlights

If you've done any programming in other environments such as Visual Studio.NET, you may be used to a specific kind of color highlighting in your code. ActionScript 2.0 comes with highlighting of its own, using colors unique to Flash of course. However, you can easily change these highlighting colors to closely match other environments to which you may be accustomed. Open your Preferences window using CTRL-U (or Flash > Preferences on the Mac) and switch to the ActionScript tab. Under Syntax coloring, you'll be able to set highlighting colors for six different parts of the Actions panel. I for one don't like that Identifiers and Keywords are the same color by default, so I usually change one of the two for distinction. Ah lovely, just one more way to totally customize your Flash environment.
