This customer approaches ISPCompany about outsourcing:

• Small server farms that do back-office-type things

• The beginnings of this client's Web business, as it doesn't want to get into Web administration or system administration (they have a business to run).

The client used to have only static Web pages (information about their business) with ISPCompany; but really it wants to go to dynamic page interaction with the rest of its business and is considering a complete outsourcing. But as any conservative business would do, the first step is to move the hardware, then buy some services, and finally, contract it all. This client was into horizontal growth. And ISPCompany, as it adds more clients of this type, is itself into horizontal growth.
