Summary

So far, you have learned how to create a Team Project using the New Team Project Wizard, setting up the architecture and configuring various aspects of the project, including the security roles and the source control repository. You also learned about work item tracking. You found out how work items are configured, how to assign and manage them within a project, and the steps for designing your own work item types. The last bit we covered was Team Reporting, including how to access project metrics, analyze trends, and create your own reports.

One of the important features of Team System for your developers and testers is the source control repository. In the next chapter, you'll examine how to leverage Team Foundation Source Control to effectively manage and administer code within an enterprise development environment.
