Acrobat to Photoshop

Acrobat to Photoshop
Q1:

Can I open a multipage PDF file in Photoshop?

A1:

When you open a multipage PDF file, the Import PDF dialog will appear. Choose the page you want to open, the Resolution, Mode, and Bit Depth.

Q2:

Can I edit a graphic from a PDF file in Photoshop?

A2:

In Acrobat, use the TouchUp Object tool and holding down Option (PC: Alt), double-click on the graphic. Photoshop will open with a file called an Adobe Touchup document. Change the document, save it, and the graphic will update in the PDF file. Or you can use Save As to rename the file, should you wish to save the file separately from the PDF file. ( Note: Some graphic formats will launch Illustrator, and some formats may not be readable by Photoshop.)

Q3:

Can I use text from a PDF file in Photoshop? Is there any way to copy the text from a PDF file and use it in Photoshop?

A3:

Use the Select Text tool in Acrobat to select the text you want, and then copy it (Edit>Copy). Switch to Photoshop, use the Type tool (T) to add an insertion point on your document, and paste (Edit>Paste). (Just to make things simpler, choose the font and size before you paste.)
