9.5. About the Authors

Fabian Monrose is an assistant professor of Computer Science at Johns Hopkins University. Previously, he was a member of the Secure Systems Group at Bell Labs. His interests include computer and network security, with particular interest in biometrics and techniques for strong user authentication.

Michael K. Reiter is a professor of Electrical & Computer Engineering and Computer Science at Carnegie Mellon University. He joined AT&T Bell Labs in 1993 and became a founding member of AT&T LabsResearch when NCR and Lucent Technologies (including Bell Labs) split from AT&T in 1996. He returned to Bell Labs in 1998 as director of secure systems research, and then joined Carnegie Mellon in 2001.
