Maintaining SQL Server 2000 Desktop Engine Databases

The SQL Server 2000 Desktop Engine does not include graphical database management tools. However, you can manage an instance of the SQL Server 2000 Desktop Engine from SQL Server 2000 Enterprise Manager if you can connect to the computer running SQL Server 2000 Desktop Engine from a computer with SQL Server 2000 installed. All the SQL Server 2000 tasks previously described can be completed using Enterprise Manager from a computer connected to an instance of SQL Server 2000 Desktop Engine.
