As you create your worksheet, Excel displays dotted lines to indicate where it is going to divide the pages. You can insert your own page breaks by choosing the Insert, Page Break command. However, Excel has a feature called Page Break Preview that displays page breaks more clearly and enables you to easily move page breaks by dragging them. To turn on Page Break Preview, either open the View menu and select Page Break Preview , or click the Page Break Preview button in Print Preview. Excel displays page breaks as thick blue lines and displays the page number in big gray type on each page. You can then drag the lines with your mouse to move them, as shown in Figure 10.8. Although this feature does not help you fit the worksheet on a page, it does give you control over the way Excel divides the columns and rows that make up your worksheet. When you're finished, open the View menu and select Normal . Figure 10.8. You can drag the blue lines in Page Break Preview to move the page breaks.
To insert a new page break, follow these steps:
To remove a page break that you inserted, right-click the cell below the horizontal page break or to the right of the vertical page break, open the Insert menu, and choose Remove Page Break . Note
