Skipping the GroupWise WebAccess Language Page

When you install the WebAccess Application and replace the existing default web page, you are prompted to select your language when you log in to WebAccess. In many cases, you might want to simply skip this language page and send users directly to the login page.

If you are planning on setting up a web page that gives users a jumping-off point before they get to the login page, it is very simple to skip the language page. For example, say you want the users to get a welcome HTML page that includes company information or information about how to use the WebAccess system. You simply add a link to the default HTML page that points to the WebAccess Application running on your web server. When you define the link into WebAccess, it would look something like this:

http://your web server's DNS name/gw/webacc

Because you specified the actual servlet that WebAccess is using, you skip the language page. The users enter their usernames and passwords and are directed to the correct or default WebAccess Agent.
