The World Wide Web has hundreds, maybe thousands, of sites that are dedicated to using Paint Shop Pro. If you have Internet access, take the time to check out some of the links listed in this appendix. Some are general Paint Shop Pro help information whereas others are step-by-step tutorials on special tasks that you can accomplish with Paint Shop Pro. Still others are links to free, or mostly free, things you can download to use with Paint Shop Prothings like picture tubes, masks, filters, and frames .
Many of these sites refer to prior versions of Paint Shop Pro, but you'll find that you can use most of the information they offer with Paint Shop Pro 8 as well. Some of these sites offer help that is specifically designed for new users, others have tutorials to guide you step by step through various Paint Shop Pro processes, and still others are freebies (along with a few non-freebies) such as tubes, masks, frames, and other various goodies .
I apologize in advance if any listed site closes or modifies its content. Although these links were active and accurate at the time of publication, Web sites change frequently. Also, make sure that your anti-virus software is up to date before you download anything from the Internet. You cannot be too safe!

One final note: If you like to read newsgroups, here are a few of them. You can post Paint Shop Pro questions and receive answers from other Paint Shop Pro users or even the Jasc programmers.
