Not many writers would say this, but I have to tell you somethingthis chapter was really not fun to write. There, I said it. Are you happy? You're probably asking yourself why in the world I would write the chapter in the first place then. Well, think about it. I can give you all the tips and tutorials in the world about working faster in Photoshop, but what good is it if you've got your computer or Photoshop itself set up in a way that will slow you down? So, here we'll take a look at some of the things that nobody wants to talk aboutRAM, preferences, scratch disk space, and hard drive space. So, if nobody wants to talk about these things then why am I talking about them? Because they're just as important a factor in working faster in Photoshop as the tips and tutorials that you've read throughout this book.
