Since graduating from the University of Tasmania, Australia, with a First-Class Honours degree in Computing, Warren has worked for Murchison E-Commerce as a Software Engineer. Trained primarily in C++ and Java programming, his current research and development work focuses on exploring the commercial possibilities and security implications of peer-to-peer networks for e-commerce in vertical marketplaces.

Warren's other computing interests include networking and security systems, Java development, open source business models and mobile computing devices. In his spare time, Warren manages to spend too much time with computers and not enough time outside enjoying the wilderness of Tasmania, although he promises to change that soon.
