Although this book focuses on Flash MX 2004, I refuse to ignore compelling features found only in Flash MX Professional 2004. (For that matter, you'll also find two chapters on still another productthe Flash Communication Server.) It's impossible for me to say whether the Pro version is worth the price for you. However, you can't really say whether it's worth it eithernot until you really know the difference. In the places where I cover Flash Pro features, I make a note of it. Having said this, it's fair to assume that I can't cover either version in complete detail. This book is just about using Flash to create applications. You'll learn what's necessary to reach that goal.
