iMovie HD: BEATING THE SORTING SLUDGE

If you've got a movie with a lot of different clips in your Clip Viewer, dragging a clip from one end of your movie to the other can take what seems like forever, while you sludge through clip after clip dragging your way down to where you want it. But there's a much faster wayinstead, drag the clip out of the Clip Viewer and drop it on an empty space up in the Clips pane. Then use the scroll bar below your Clip Viewer to move quickly to the spot where you want your clip to appear. Now you can simply drag-and-drop your clip from the Clips pane back down to the Clip Viewerright where you want itin less than half the time.
