iMovie HD: KEEPING AN EYE ON THE TRASH

When you're editing, it's usually not long before your iMovie HD's Trash starts filling up with clips, and that's a good thing, because there's no sense in taking up loads of space with clips you're definitely not going to use. However, if you're like me, sometimes you want a clip back that you trashed. Well, as long as you haven't emptied iMovie HD's Trash yet, you can rescue it. Luckily, finding which clip to rescue (and which clips are okay to delete) is easier than ever. Just click on the Trash icon in the bottom-right corner of the iMovie HD window, which brings up a dialog that not only lists what clips are in the Trash, but also allows you to preview any clip by clicking on it and hitting the little Play button. If you do decide you want that clip, just drag it from that Trash window back into the Clips pane.
