iMovie HD: GETTIN SNAPPY

iMovie HD: GETTIN' SNAPPY

Tired of guessing whether the clip you're dragging on the Timeline is really butting right up against the clip before it, with no gap? Just hold the Shift key while you're dragging, and your clip will "snap" to the clip as soon as it gets close. You can also use this trick for snapping to markers or audio clips, or just about anything worth snapping to. By the way, if you fall in love with this snapping (you get "snapinitis"), you can have it on all the timejust go to the iMovie HD menu, choose Preferences, and in the General section of the resulting dialog, turn on the checkbox for Snap to Items in Timeline.
