Preview: THE NON-MAGNIFYING GLASS TRICK

If you're used to Photoshop's Zoom tool, which allows you to click-and-drag a selection around the area you want to zoom in on, you're probably frustrated with how the Preview Zoom In tool (it looks like a magnifying glass) works. There's no draggingyou just click on the Zoom In tool in the toolbar and it zooms in. But, you can get the same "drag-a-selection-and-zoom" effect by simply clicking-and-dragging a selection (you don't have to select a tool for this, just click-and-drag) around the exact area you want to zoom in on, then choose Zoom to Selection from the View menu. That area will zoom in, filling your window. Nice.
