Address Book: SMART GROUP IDEAS

Here are some ideas for Smart Groups: (1) Create one for your co-workers and have the Group created using your company's name. That way, as new people are added to your company, they'll automatically be added to the Group. If someone gets laid off, when you update their card, they'll move out of that Group and into your Federal Witness Protection Program Smart Group (Kidding. I hope). (2) If you enter birthdays for friends and co-workers in your Address Book, why not create a Smart Group of all the people who are having a birthday in the next 30 days. You do that by Option-clicking on the plus (+) sign at the bottom-left corner of Address Book, then when the dialog appears, in the first field enter a name, then in the first pop-up menu choose Birthday. The second pop-up menu will change to "is in the next," and you just type "30" for the amount of days and click OK. What's particularly cool is that you only have to do this onceit will automatically update every day.
