MAILBOX GETTING FULL? MAKE SOME ROOM FROM WITHIN MAIL

Is your email server's mailbox full? You can quickly delete old or unwanted email right from within Mail (rather than having to access your mail server directly). Here's how: First, click on the name of the Mail Account where you want to delete some excess mail, then press Command-I to bring up the Account Info dialog. If it's a standard POP mail account, select the Messages on Server tab to see a list of the email messages stored on your email server. Now select the message you want to delete (Shift-click to select a contiguous group of messages, or if you want to be more selective, Command-click on just the email you want to delete). Once you've got the ones selected you want to delete, just click the Remove From Server button in the lower-right corner of the dialog. That should free up some space, and you're back in business (well, at least you can get more email).
