ONE-CLICK TABBING

By default, you have to Command-click to load a particular folder of sites for Tabbed Browsing (see previous tip), but if you find you're loading full folders of sites (rather than just one individual site within the folder), you can change how Safari lets you click. That way, just a simple click loads the folder for Tabbed Browsing, and if you want just one particular site in the folder to load, then you Command-click that site from the folder's pop-up menu in the Bookmarks Bar. Surprisingly, this isn't found under Safari's Preferences; instead, click on the Show All Bookmarks icon up in the Bookmarks Bar and then under Collections, click on the Bookmarks Bar to bring up a list of the sites and folders. To make any folder a one-click load, click on the Auto-Click checkbox, and now all the sites in that folder will load with just one click.
