BUILT-IN TIP FINDER

You can uncover a number of cool little tips from right within Safari itself by looking at the very bottom left-hand corner of the Safari window (if you don't see it there, choose Show Status Bar from the View menu). When you put your cursor over a link on a webpage, before you even click the link, it shows you what will happen when you do click it. For example, if you put your cursor over a link to my website, in the Status Bar it would say "Go to http://www.scottkelby.com" Now, here's where it gets fun: Hold a modifier key (Command, Option, Shift, Control, etc.) and then take a look down there. As you hold each key, the status bar changes to show you what will happen next. For example, if you hold the Command key and move over the link, it would say something like "Open http://www.scottkelby.com in a new tab," so you now know that holding the Command key and clicking a link does just thatit opens that site in a new tab. I won't spoil the rest for you, but try it yourself by moving over a link and pressing Control, Option, Command-Shift, Command-Option, Command-Shift-Option, etc., and a number of cool little tips will be revealed.
