PAUSING YOUR DIRECT-TO-QUICKTIME RECORDING

If you're using the previous tip, here's another little tip you'll want to know: When you're recording video or audio clips, and you need to pause for a moment, just hold down the Option key and the Stop button changes into a Pause button. When you're ready to record again, just release the Option key and click the red Record button.
