Thanks to my wife, Carol, for putting up with more lost weekends; to the engineering staff at 3t Systems for answering a million questions and validating a million details; and a special thanks to Ben Reeser for dealing with printing and to "Brain" (Brian) Casselman (consistently mis-typing that is somehow apropos), the Gateway Guru, for getting me through the mysteries of CAG with AAC.

Alan Wood

To my wife, Lindsay, and my daughter Rebekah, who provide the daily inspiration to keep moving forward.

Tim Reeser

To my fianc, Wendy Wooters, for her support and understanding (of me) and for her wonderful laughter .

Acknowledgments

significant amount of the technical material in this book was gathered from Citrix personnel, who were all very helpful. Special thanks though to Doug Brown for his work of art, Methodology in a Box (which we encourage anyone involved with a Citrix project to read at http://www.dabcc.com), and for allowing us to borrow content and ideas from his work. We also are indebted to Anthony Ricco, Senior Director of Platform Marketing for Citrix, who helped us both understand and better articulate Citrix' latest messaging.

Thanks to Ben Reeser for his help with Chapters 12 and 13, and to Wendy Rinaldi of McGraw-Hill.

And finally, we want to thank all of our customers who had the vision and courage to implement Citrix on an enterprise scale, and who thereby helped create the access infrastructure industry and the foundation for the on-demand enterprise.
