Summary

 < Day Day Up >

This very quick tour of Sockets programming in Ruby provided a discussion of the Ruby language in addition to many of the useful Sockets methods for the network application developer. Although Ruby continues to be actively developed, it represents a very clean, object-oriented scripting language that can be a useful part of any programmer’s toolbox.
