Just not sexy enough


A lot of employers are going to have to realise that whatever they peddle in goods and services is not a turn on. Already - as we have mentioned earlier - employees want to work with recognised names , brands and those that are leaders in the business. Conversely they are turned off industries that appear boring, grey and just plain unexciting. While this may smell like an opportunity for advertising and public relations agencies to do their stuff, it is in fact a huge job for corporate recruiters and HR professionals. We are going to have to sharpen up the image of many of our dowdy old firms if we are to attract those who run their lives in a lifestyle/workstyle fashion.
