Adding a Sound Clip

Audio files can add snap as well as amplifying information in your Word documents, whether they are intended for Web publication or not. The Microsoft Clip Organizer comes with sound clips you can insert into your documents.

Insert a Sound Clip

Position the insertion point where you want the sound file located.

Click the Insert menu ' and then click Object.

Click the Create From File tab.

Click Browse. Locate the sound file you want to insert, and then double-click it.

To insert the selected sound file as a linked object, click the Link To File check box to select it.

Click OK.

To test the sound file, double-click its button.

Insert a Sound from the Clip Organizer

Click the Insert menu point to Picture and then click Clip Art.

Type sounds in the Search For box, and then click the Go button.

Click the sound you want to insert.

When you're done, click the Close button on the task pane.
